I4S 2/2024: Industry 4.0 Platforms

While platforms in the consumer sector are widely established and recognized, they’re yet to exhaust their potential in the industrial sector. This is due on the one hand due to certain companies’ security concerns about jeopardizing their ability to compete by sharing strategic information. On the other, the structure of the data to be transferred and its accompanying documentation is much more complex with industrial platforms.
