Abstract

Internal and external influences affect companies and their production structure. To remain competitive, companies must follow a continuous adaption process. Necessary adaptions lead to costs but can also generate additional profit. Depending on the investment date these costs and profits may vary. The conclusion is that the investment date influences the profit and loss statement of the company. This article gives an overview on the drivers and their impact on the investment date.
