{"id":93687,"date":"2019-10-15T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/industry-science.com\/?post_type=article&#038;p=93687"},"modified":"2024-04-24T05:44:51","modified_gmt":"2024-04-24T03:44:51","slug":"smart-service-lifecycle-management-framework-and-use-case","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/industry-science.com\/en\/articles\/smart-service-lifecycle-management-framework-and-use-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Smart Service Lifecycle Management"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die digitale Anschlussf\u00e4higkeit von Produkten und Maschinen durch die Implementierung von Industrie 4.0 f\u00fchrt zu einer wachsenden Datenbasis als Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr die Entwicklung von innovativen Dienstleistungen [1]. Ein Beispiel f\u00fcr die dadurch erm\u00f6glichten, datenbasierten Dienste sind Smart Services. Sie k\u00f6nnen in Anlehnung an acatech [2] wie folgt definiert werden:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smart Services sind datenbasierte, individuell konfigurierbare Angebote aus Dienstleistungen, digitalen Diensten und Produkten, die h\u00e4ufig \u00fcber Plattformen angeboten werden.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smart Services k\u00f6nnen beispielsweise dabei helfen, leistungsrelevante Informationen und Daten zu sammeln und auszuwerten, Instandhaltungsprozesse zu vereinfachen oder industrielle Wertsch\u00f6pfungsketten zu optimieren\u00a0[3]. Dies f\u00fchrt mittel- und langfristig zu tiefgreifenden Ver\u00e4nderungen f\u00fcr produzierende Unternehmen. Daher werden auch die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Produkt und Dienstleistung entlang ihres Lebenszyklus f\u00fcr Unternehmen immer relevanter, wenn sie ihr Gesch\u00e4ft dienstleistungsorientiert ausrichten wollen [4,\u00a05]. So k\u00f6nnen die Unternehmen durch das Angebot eines attraktiven B\u00fcndels von Smart Products und Smart Services Alleinstellungsmerkmale in einer bestimmten Marktnische schaffen [6]. Der Kunde erh\u00e4lt also eine ganzheitliche L\u00f6sung anstelle von singul\u00e4ren Produkten. Eine solche L\u00f6sung reduziert zum einen die Komplexit\u00e4t auf der Kundenseite und garantiert zum anderen die Erf\u00fcllung der Anforderungen durch ein definiertes Servicelevel\u00a0[7].<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obwohl viele Unternehmen die Bedeutung von Smart Services erkennen und diese in Zukunft selbst \u00fcber Serviceplattformen anbieten wollen, wird diese M\u00f6glichkeit bisher kaum genutzt\u00a0[8]. Als Grund wurde fehlende durchg\u00e4ngige methodische Unterst\u00fctzung in Phasen des Smart Service Lebenszyklus genannt [9], insbesondere wurden hier die bisher fehlende Ber\u00fccksichtigung von Gesch\u00e4ftsmodellen erw\u00e4hnt [8].<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/industry-science.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Freitag_IM-5-19_Bild-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-95326\" style=\"width:841px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Bild 1: Kombination von Industrie 4.0-Anlagen und Smart Services entlang eines Smart Service Life- cycles [17]<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es, ein Rahmenkonzept f\u00fcr ein Smart Service Lifecycle Management vorzustellen und anhand eines Praxisbeispiels zu evaluieren. Dadurch werden Unternehmen bei der systematischen Entwicklung und Erbringung von Smart Services unterst\u00fctzt.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im n\u00e4chsten Abschnitt wird hierzu die Beziehung zwischen Industrie 4.0 und Smart Services genauer betrachtet, bevor der Unterst\u00fctzungsbedarf auf Basis von Expertenbefragungen konkretisiert wird. Daran anschlie\u00dfend wird das Rahmenkonzept f\u00fcr ein Smart Service Lifecycle Management vorgestellt und seine Anwendbarkeit an einem Praxisbeispiel aus der Textilindustrie gezeigt.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Industrie 4.0 und Smart Service<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die im vorigen Abschnitt beschriebenen Entwicklungen f\u00fchren zu einer Vertiefung der Beziehung zwischen dem Product Lifecycle Management [10, 11], zum Beispiel f\u00fcr Maschinen in einer Fabrik auf Basis von Industrie 4.0, und dem Service Lifecycle Management [12-14], zum Beispiel auf Basis eines Smart Services. Eine solche Kombination von Industrie 4.0-Anlagen und aktivierten Smart Services kann auch als ein Produkt-Service System (PSS) beschrieben werden\u00a0[15,\u00a016]. Bild\u00a01 veranschaulicht die Beziehung zwischen den Maschinen und ihren Daten, und den Smart Services entlang eines Smart Service Lifecycles. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In einer vernetzten Fabrik senden Maschinensensoren kontinuierlich Daten an eine Datenbankplattform. Je nach Sensortyp k\u00f6nnen beispielsweise Temperatur, Feuchte oder Energieverbrauch gemessen werden. Je nach Konfiguration kann die Daten\u00fcbertragung der zahlreichen Messergebnisse (Big Data) kontinuierlich und in Echtzeit oder in festen, zeitlichen Abst\u00e4nden erfolgen. Alle \u00fcbertragenen Daten werden auf der ausgew\u00e4hlten Plattform gespeichert. Dabei werden nicht nur die Messwerte, sondern auch die zugeh\u00f6rigen Metadaten wie das Datum des Messwerts und die Seriennummer der Maschine erfasst. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dieser gesamte Datenpool wird in festen Abst\u00e4nden mithilfe von Software analysiert und strukturiert. Nur auf der Grundlage dieser strukturierten Daten (Smart Data) k\u00f6nnen Smart Services \u2013 wie zum Beispiel Prozessoptimierungen oder Predictive Maintenance \u2013 angeboten werden [17]. Der Kunde erh\u00e4lt einen individuell konfigurierten Service auf Basis der gesammelten und strukturierten Daten seiner Maschinen, was einen (auch monet\u00e4ren) Mehrwert f\u00fcr den Kunden schafft.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expertenbefragung zum Einsatz von Smart Service im Maschinen- und Anlagenbau<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr die Expertenbefragung [8] wurde die Form eines semi-strukturierten, pers\u00f6nlichen Interviews gew\u00e4hlt. Die in der Studie befragten 15 Experten wurden bewusst vorwiegend aus klein- und mittelst\u00e4ndischen Unternehmen ausgew\u00e4hlt, da gerade dort die gr\u00f6\u00dften Handlungspotenziale liegen. Der verwendete Interviewleitfaden bestand insgesamt aus drei Fragebl\u00f6cken. Im ersten Block wurden allgemeine Fragen zur Person und der Position im Unternehmen gestellt. Der zweite befasste sich mit den derzeitigen Trends und Entwicklungen im Servicebereich und den zuk\u00fcnftig zu erwartenden \u00c4nderungen. Im dritten Frageblock ging es um den Einsatz von Serviceplattformen und deren Funktionalit\u00e4ten sowie die darauf angebotenen Smart Services. Am Ende der Experteninterviews werden Hemmnisse und Barrieren beim Einsatz von Plattformen und Smart Services aufgenommen.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 15 Experteninterviews \u2013 meist mit Vertretern kleiner und mittlerer deutscher Unternehmen \u2013 wurden bisher genutzte Smart Services kaum genannt [8]. Die befragten Experten gaben jedoch einen ersten Einblick in die Zukunftserwartungen im Bereich der Smart Services im Maschinen- und Anlagenbau. Die folgenden Arten von Smart Services wurden dabei mehrfach erw\u00e4hnt:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remote Services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Services zur Produktionsoptimierung<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Predictive Maintenance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Services Monitoring Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die \u00fcberwiegende Mehrheit der Unternehmen m\u00f6chte Smart Services in Zukunft \u00fcber Serviceplattformen anbieten. Aus den durchgef\u00fchrten Experteninterviews ergaben sich folgende Handlungsempfehlungen genannt [8]: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>eigene Strategien und Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle zur Nutzung von Serviceplattformen entwickeln,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smart Services transparent und klar beschreiben,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Datensammlung und -aufbereitung strukturieren und organisieren und<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter qualifizieren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au\u00dferdem best\u00e4tigen auch andere Quellen [2, 9] auf der Grundlage durchgef\u00fchrter Unternehmensfallstudien die oben genannten Handlungsempfehlungen, insbesondere sind hier zus\u00e4tzlich folgende Punkte zu nennen [9]:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Methoden zum Testen und \u00dcberwachen von Services,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>eine Notation zur Modellierung von Produkt-Service-Systemen und<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>neue Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle f\u00fcr hybride Leistungsb\u00fcndel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein Smart-Service-Lifecycle-Management-Rahmenkonzept, das die oben genannten Handlungsempfehlungen von der Ideenfindung, Entwicklung und Erbringung bis hin zur Abl\u00f6sung eines Smart Service strukturiert, wird im n\u00e4chsten Kapitel beschrieben.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entwicklung und Management von Smart Services<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein Ansatz zur Entwicklung und zum Management eines Smart Service Lifecycles, wie in Bild\u00a01 dargestellt, ist die Einf\u00fchrung eines Smart Service Lifecycle Managements [13,\u00a014]. Dieses Smart Service Lifecycle Management bildet nicht nur die Entwicklungsperspektive eines Smart Services, sondern auch das Management des Gesch\u00e4ftsmodells und des Wertsch\u00f6pfungsnetzwerks ab. Diese drei Ebenen verkn\u00fcpfen und erweitern bisher existierende Ans\u00e4tze aus dem Service Engineering [18, 19, 20, 21], der Gesch\u00e4ftsmodellmodellierung [22, 23] und dem Management von Wertsch\u00f6pfungsnetzwerken [24, 25]. Bild\u00a02 veranschaulicht dies.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/industry-science.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Freitag_IM-5-19_Bild-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-95328\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Bild 2: Modulares Prozessmodell eines Smart Service Lifecycle Managements<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Es gibt drei Ebenen des Smart Service Lifecycle Managements:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>das Gesch\u00e4ftsmodellmanagement,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>das Smart Service Management und<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>das Netzwerkmanagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese drei Ebenen enthalten insgesamt 28 Entwicklungsmodule, die den Lebenszyklus eines Smart Services von der Ideenfindung bis zur Lieferung und dem Austausch steuern [14]. Diese 28 Entwicklungsmodule stellen eine Erweiterung des konfigurierbaren Vorgehensmodells von technischen Dienstleistungen [19] dar, das um Module aus den Bereichen der Gesch\u00e4ftsmodellentwicklung und der Wertsch\u00f6pfungsnetzwerke erg\u00e4nzt wurde. Der Smart Service Lifecycle beginnt mit der Phase der Ideenfindung.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Prozess ist jedoch nicht nur auf den Service ausgerichtet, sondern zielt auf den Smart Service als ganzheitliche L\u00f6sung ab.Daher werden auch das Gesch\u00e4ftsmodell und das Netzwerk ber\u00fccksichtigt. Das Gleiche gilt f\u00fcr die Anforderungsanalyse. Ausgehend von den Marktanforderungen werden die IT- und Gesch\u00e4ftspartner-Anforderungen definiert. Bei der Konzeption werden das Gesch\u00e4ftsmodell, der Smart Service, die Sensor- und IT-Infrastruktur sowie das Netzwerk parallel entwickelt. Iterative R\u00fcckkopplungsschleifen sorgen f\u00fcr Designkompatibilit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Implementierung umfasst die Realisierung der materiellen und immateriellen Komponenten des Smart Services. \u00c4hnlich wie bei der Konzeption wird die Realisierung von Produkten und Dienstleistungen getrennt, aber die iterative Pr\u00fcfung der Ergebnisse stellt sicher, dass sie kombinierbar sind. Sobald diese iterative Pr\u00fcfung vollzogen ist, kann der Smart Service dem Benutzer zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt werden. Sollte der Smart Service nicht mehr in der Lage sein, seine vorgesehene Funktion zu erf\u00fcllen, wird er ersetzt. Hier wird entschieden, ob der Smart Service durch den Austausch von IT oder Netzwerk ver\u00e4ndert werden kann oder ob er komplett gestoppt werden muss [14]. Das beschriebene Rahmenkonzept wurde zur Konfiguration eines Smart Service Lifecycle Managements in den industriellen Anwendungsf\u00e4llen genutzt, die im folgenden Kapitel beschrieben werden.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Anwendung des Smart Service Lifecycle Managements<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um zu untersuchen, wie das beschriebene Smart Service Lifecycle Management in Industrieunternehmen zur Gestaltung eines Smart Services eingesetzt werden kann, wird ein Anwendungsfall dargestellt. Zuerst wird kurz das Unternehmen dargestellt und dann der entwickelte Smart Service. Ein weiteres Anwendungsbeispiel aus der Luftfahrtindustrie, das auf dem gleichen Rahmenkonzept basiert, findet sich bei Freitag und H\u00e4mmerle [13,\u00a014] sowie Thoben und Wiesner [26].<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fratelli Piacenza S.P.A. \u2013 Smart Services in der Textilindustrie<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Fratelli Piacenza S.P.A. ist ein mittelst\u00e4ndischer, italienischer Hersteller von feinen Wollstoffen. Er bietet die Stoffe f\u00fcr die Modebranche an, k\u00fcmmert sich gemeinsam mit den Kunden um die Rohstoffauswahl und entwirft den Stil und die Farben. J\u00e4hrlich wird eine gro\u00dfe Vielfalt an Produkten (ca. 1000 Stoffe) entworfen, f\u00fcr die jeweils physische Prototypen realisiert werden. Nur wenige der Original-Prototypen werden jedoch tats\u00e4chlich f\u00fcr die Produktion ausgew\u00e4hlt, was den Prozess sehr kostenintensiv macht. Um Zeit und Kosten zu sparen, wurde daher beschlossen, virtuelle Prototypen zu erstellen, um so verschiedene Designs auf demselben physischen Material pr\u00e4sentieren zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/industry-science.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Freitag_IM-5-19_Bild-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-95330\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Bild 3: Modulares Prozessmodell des Smart Service Lifecycle Managements von Piacenza<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Ziel des Unternehmens ist es, sein Angebot f\u00fcr Kunden zu erweitern, indem es virtuelle Prototypen f\u00fcr Stoff- und Gewebeproben anbietet, mit denen die Kundeninteraktionen verbessert werden sollen.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Aktivit\u00e4ten im Zuge des Service Lifecycle Managements, das hei\u00dft die Entwicklung und die Benutzung des virtuellen Prototyps, h\u00e4ngen von der Wahl des zu produzierenden Produkts ab. So entstehen beispielsweise virtuelle Prototypen, die sich aus der Definition der Neujahrskollektion und der Wahl des Stoffdesigns ergeben.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bild\u00a03 zeigt das modulare Prozessmodell des Smart Service Lifecycles von Piacenza mit allen ausgew\u00e4hlten neuen Modulen, die f\u00fcr die Entwicklung des virtuellen Prototypen als Smart Service eingesetzt wurden.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die neun Module wurden aus dem modulare Prozessmodell aus Bild\u00a02 so ausgew\u00e4hlt, dass diese genau die noch fehlende Aspekte bei der Entwicklung des virtuellen Prototypen abdecken. Neben der Ideegenerierung waren dies am Anfang die Module \u201eMarktanforderungen analysieren\u201c und \u201eGesch\u00e4ftsmodell entwickeln\u201c. Am Ende stand der Test dieses Prototyps und die Sicherstellung der Netzwerkkoordination vor allem mit den Softwarepartnern und Messedienstleistern, um so auch die virtuellen Prototypen bei Messen und Kunden pr\u00e4sentieren zu k\u00f6nnen. Aus diesen Gr\u00fcnden wurden die Module \u201eSmart Service testen\u201c und Netzwerkpartner testen\u201c ausgew\u00e4hlt, bevor die virtuellen Prototypen an die einzelnen Kunden ausgeliefert oder bei Messest\u00e4nden benutzt werden konnten. In der Erbringungsphase kommen dann die Module \u201eControlling duchf\u00fchren\u201c und \u201eNetzwerkpartner managen\u201c zum Einsatz.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durch die Anwendung des Smart Service Lifecycle Managements konnte das Unternehmen Piacenza einen neuen Smart Service systematisch entwickeln und erbringen. Das Unternehmensportfolio wurde erweitert und die Kunden erhalten dadurch einen Mehrwert f\u00fcr den sie auch bereit waren zu zahlen.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zusammenfassung und Ausblick<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dieser Beitrag belegt die wachsende Bedeutung des Angebots von Smart Services durch produzierende Unternehmen, die mit der zunehmenden Datenmenge durch die Implementierung von Industrie 4.0 einhergeht. Smart Services schaffen einen Wettbewerbsvorteil f\u00fcr Unternehmen, da es dem Kunden individuell konfigurierte Mehrwertdienste dadurch anbieten kann. Experteninterviews zeigen jedoch, dass das Wissen, wie solche Smart Services entwickelt werden k\u00f6nnen, immer noch rudiment\u00e4r ist. Daher wird ein Smart Service Lifecycle Management vorgestellt, der die Entwicklung und die Erbringung von Smart Service unterst\u00fctzt. Er umfasst Gesch\u00e4ftsmodell-, Smart Service- und Netzwerkelemente. Das Rahmenkonzept wurde erfolgreich auf einen industriellen Anwendungsfall in der Textil- und Luftfahrtindustrie angewendet. Nichtsdestotrotz gibt es noch einen Bedarf an weiteren Methoden und Werkzeuge f\u00fcr ein Smart Service Lifecycle Management.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Diese Arbeit wurde teilweise von der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission durch das FoF-Projekt \u201ePSYMBIOSYS\u201c (Nr. 636804) und vom Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) durch das Projekt \u201eiSrv. The goal of this article is to develop a sensor-based approach for capturing and evaluating multiple inspection characteristics. The use of machine learning models to detect objects and derive relevant information forms the basis for linking current condition to construction schedule. While traditional ergonomic approaches are based primarily on percentile logic and thus address only a portion of the user population, the integration of digital technologies opens up new possibilities for the dynamic and individualized adaptation of work systems. This article presents a conceptual framework for inclusive work system design that integrates standardization, automation, and adaptability. Methodologically, the article is based on a conceptual analysis of existing approaches from ergonomics and human-centered design. This article presents a framework for Smart Service Lifecycle Management that supports the systematic development of Smart Services, taking into account business models and the value network.
